31 Weeks!

The Parr's are now 31 weeks pregnant. Only 2 months left to go. My mom and dad were in town this weekend, thanks to the caring doctors at City of Hope who understand that seeing and visiting family is part of the healing process. It worked out perfectly because this was also the weekend of Relay for Life. As many of you know, I participate in the 24 hour Relay every year. All of the donations made go to the American Cancer Society. This year was extra special because dad got to walk in the Survivor Lap. It is truly a blessing that he has continued to stay healthy and beat the odds. We are all looking forward to June 11th, which will be his 100th day after his bone marrow transplant and the day he will be released from the City of Hope. Baby Parr was very excited to kick both Grandma Nadine and Grandpa Al. Brooke layed her head on my belly and Baby Parr went to town with the opportunity of kicking her in the head! It was a great weekend and I am looking forward to spending a lot of time with my parents when they move here. Baby Parr is growing and now kicking me in the ribs. My belly is getting bigger and is sitting low. There have been about 4 or 5 strangers just in the last week who have asked if I was having a boy. One stranger has asked if I was having a girl. I can't wait to find out if Baby Parr is a girl or a boy. Baby Parr is now 16 inches long and weighs about 3 1/2 pounds. School is quickly coming to an end and summer is right around the corner!

Dad and I at Relay for Life. He got a survivor t-shirt and a gold medal!
