37 Weeks!

We are now done with 37 weeks and moving into Week 38. My mom and dad are here and it is so nice to have them close. They are getting settled in their new house and are definitely ready for Baby Parr to be born. Every time my dad sees me he says I look bigger! I'm not sure how much more my belly can grow...we will see! Matt's brother Will participated in Special Olympics this weekend, so we went to cheer him on. So far he has won a silver and a bronze medal. The weather is definitely heating up and I am very thankful for our air conditioning. Matt and I will be celebrating our 2 year wedding anniversary on Monday. I can't believe it has already been 2 years. I am looking forward to Week 38. Every day is a day closer to getting the chance to meet Baby Parr. See you next week for belly pic week 38!!

Week 36!

We are almost done with Week 36 and looking forward to Week 37! I am feeling great and enjoying summer. Baby Parr loves to squirm all night, so I have been getting less sleep these past few days. The most exciting part of this week is that my parents are moving out here! They will be here tomorrow night. I am beyond excited for them to be moving so close. I think it will be such a big help to have them around with the new baby. They are very excited as well. My dad calls almost every day to check in and see how Baby Parr is doing. At our last doctor's appointment Dr. Murphy said Baby Parr is "head down" and in the right position for delivery. Now it is just the waiting game. Only a few weeks left!

35 Weeks!

We are just about done with week 35. Only one month left! It has been really nice not having to work. I have been able to get a lot done around the house and sneak in a relaxing day at the pool with my girlfriends. I am not sure if my belly has gotten bigger, but I know Baby Parr has! There isn't much room left in there and he/she is squirming around like crazy. Matt has been busy finishing some house projects and starting new ones. He has one more week off before football starts again. Baby Parr is now a little over 5 pounds and 18 inches long. We are now seeing the doctor once a week. On Tuesday we are touring the birthing center. That's about it for this week. See you back here for week 36.

34 Weeks!

This past week was week 34. We had such a fun week! First, it was the last week of school (yipee). I was extremely busy helping 21 kids enjoy their last week of second grade and then sending them off to third grade! Then, my sister in law Sarah and her boyfriend Kevin came up for the weekend to join us for a camping/boating at the lake weekend. I knew I wasn't going to be able to do any fun wakeboarding or waterskiing runs, but I was excited to lay on my floaty in the water and enjoy the sun. We had a blast and that is where belly pic week 34 came from. Sarah had the idea to have the guys pose with me and show off their bellies as well. Matt just started football practice for the upcoming year, so he is busy with that. I am excited to be home and get Baby Parr's room and our house ready for our new little Parr. We are taking childbirth classes, which have been informative and exciting because I know it is getting closer and closer to Baby Parr's arrival. As time gets closer I am also getting more and more curious as to whether Baby Parr is a boy or a girl.

33 Weeks!!

This is week 33. Only 7 more weeks to go! I am getting very excited and I can't wait to hold Baby Parr in my arms. We took a trip to Monterey this past weekend to celebrate Jim and Tamara's wedding. It was a lot of fun. We got to see family and friends that we usually only see once or twice a year. We also got to visit Grandma Gene, which is always fun. The weather was amazing, but the ocean water was COLD. I felt like I had a brain freeze on my feet.
I also had a baby shower at work this week. I am so fortunate to work with such amazing people. The shower was so cute, thanks to Lisa, who is the best party planner/decorator I know. We received tons of great gifts and Baby Parr's room is overflowing. We are going camping this weekend with my sister in law Sarah and her boyfriend Kevin. I am super excited! I have my inflatable raft ready for some sun bathing and floating on the lake. This week is the last week of school and is jam packed with fun events. I am looking forward to the break from school, although I think it will make waiting for Baby Parr harder. I plan to reorganize the nursery and get everything just right for Baby Parr.
